Used to insulate parapet upstands and minimise cold bridging, helping to maintain the thermal integrity of the building’s internal envelope.

The product provides a non-combustible, impact and weather resistant thermal insulation for use on low level inverted roof parapet upstands, including to and across compartment walls.

Description

BEWI Upstand Boards are designed to deliver thermal insulation for upstands in flat roof constructions, commonly used in inverted roof systems.

Manufactured from mineral wool insulation, factory bonded to an external-grade, high-impact fibre-cement facing board, BEWI Upstand Boards ensure durability. They are engineered to provide a robust, weather-resistant, and impact-resistant finish.

Features and benefits:

  • Low thermal conductivity helps provide a thermal break at the base of upstands and perimeter walls of a flat roof.
  • Compatible with most flat roof waterproofing systems.
