Synthetic rubber resin-based primer, developed to provide the necessary preparation of substrates prior to the installation of self-adhesive and torch-applied membranes. The spray application offers improved film thickness speed of application (by up to 50% over roller applied products) and quick drying in a matter of minutes.

• Coverage: Approx. 96 g/m² (300 mm-wide spray one coat, 192 g/m² two coats). Two coats may be required for very porous substrates.
• Application temperature: +5 to +30°C.
• Drying time (at 10°C): 5–10 minutes.
• Colour: Black.
• Recoat time if left exposed: Four hours.

Guidance for specification option:

A technically advanced self-adhesive SBS elastomeric bitumen underlayer with “DUO” lap technology to ensure thorough sealing of lap joints, even in lower temperatures. The product features a glass lattice reinforcement for strength and stability. The product benefits from cleaner, safer and faster installation than traditional torch-applied membranes.

A high quality, heavy duty, torch-applied, elastomeric bitumen capping sheet. The product features chemically treated bitumen to deliver superior root resistance which has been tested and approved by the FLL. The membrane is reinforced with 250 g/m² spunbond polyester fleece to allow the finished product to cope with structural movement without fracture. Expandable graphite fire retardant is also incorporated to reduce spread of flame.

For maintaining thermal continuity at drainage points. Suitable for warm, cold and inverted roof construction, the high thermal value of the rigid foam body prevents condensation from forming on the underside of the outlet.

Designed for use when connecting to conventional drainage systems, with excellent flow rate performance and is suitable for both new build and refurbishment projects. Outlets are included in the Bauder waterproofing system guarantee as they are integrated components.

The Bauder Blue Roof Bitumen Flow Restrictor is comprised of four parts; Baseplate, overflow pipe, Baseplate inner and Baseplate outer seal. The polyamide Baseplate fits within the 70 mm vertical outlet, with the EPDM outer seal creating a watertight fit. The PE-HD Overflow slots into the central hole of the Baseplate with an inner EPDM seal preventing any leaks. BauderBLUE ST-B Adjustable Blue Roof Flow Restrictor – Bitumen must be set to the requirement of the particular roof. Bauder must be consulted to carry out this bespoke design.
