Total Green Roof System PLUS is a green cold roof bitumen membrane waterproofing system suitable for new build and refurbishment applications, incorporating torch-on bitumen root-resistant capping sheet with self-adhered bitumen underlayer.

Total bitumen green roof system PLUS (uninsulated), incorporating torch-on bitumen capping sheet with self-adhered bitumen underlayer.

Bauder Total Green Roof System PLUS (BTGRS PLUS) is suitable for a variety of applications on both new build and refurbishment projects and can be used in cold, warm and inverted roof scenarios where a green roof finish is required. Warm and inverted roof systems are specified separately.

Plus points:

Two-layer 8.7 mm combined waterproofing.
Atactic polypropylene (APP) / styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) dual modified bitumen 5.2 mm cap sheet with glass-polyester composite reinforcement.
SBS modified elastomeric bitumen, used on the underside, provides flexibility to cope with European climatic extremes of between -40 to +150°C. Tested to EN 1109 and EN 1110 and stated on the BBA certificate.
APP-modified bitumen, used for the upper coating, offers a life expectancy in excess of 35 years according to section 12 of the BBA certificate.
Incorporates self-adhesive membranes.

Horizontal work	Activator-Primer (Canister) APR01 – Black. Guidance for specification option: Synthetic rubber resin-based primer, developed to provide the necessary preparation of substrates prior to the installation of self-adhesive and torch-applied membranes. The spray application offers improved film thickness speed of application (by up to 50% over roller applied products) and quick drying in a matter of minutes. Coverage: Approximately 96 g/m² (300 mm wide spray one coat, 192 g/m² two coats). Two coats may be required for very porous substrates. Application temperature: +5 to +30°C. Drying time (at 10°C): 5–10 minutes. Colour: Black. Recoat time if left exposed: Four hours. Suitable substrates: Oriented strand board (OSB); plywood; timber; concrete; lightweight concrete or cementitious materials; metal; Bauder self-adhesive underlayers; existing asphalt and bitumen membranes; polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation. The two side laps of the membrane have differing finishes. On one lap there is a self-adhesive finish, whist the opposite lap has a glass fleece. This allows the membrane to be sealed with either a gas torch or hot air welder. Width: 1 m. Length: 7.5 m. Thickness: 3.5 mm. Weight: 4 kg/m². Surface: Top: PE Foil; Bottom: release film (cold self-adhesive bitumen underside). Reinforcement: 200 g/m² glass lattice with glass fleece combination. Cold bending test: Top -25°C; Bottom -30°C. The product features a 300 g/m² spunbond polyester/ glass composite reinforcement to allow the finished product to cope with structural movement without fracture, and a mineral finish to provide protection against UV degradation.
