Manual aluminium framed telescopic glazed door system for “in-line” applications. Doors and corrosion resistant sliding track mechanisms to be severe duty with low opening and closing forces.
Most suited for use in hospital environments where ease of use and flexibility are required. Flo-Motion doors feature cassettes with recirculating ball guides, sliding on a low resistance linear track with damper mechanisms at the fully opened and closed positions.
The high number of balls ensure continuous contact with bearing surfaces, as well as the contained roller, which increases the slide load rate capability and decreases the movement force. The doors can be easily opened and closed by a child and with no power assistance.
Our sliding doors offer excellent light transfer, privacy, ease of use and more importantly, a better overall patient experience.
To be formed from non-thermal aluminium extruded box section and to include a frame that fits within the structural opening, consisting of two jambs (152mm x 47mm profiles) and a specifically designed 165mm x 178mm integral transom bar with reinforced fixing points to accept multiple tracks and heavy doors.
The doors (fast and slow) are connected by a unique sequencing device to allow the doors to function as one. The primary door (fast) is prepared to accept a floating bottom guide connected to the secondary panel. Doors fabricated from various profiles using 100 x 47 mm rails and stiles. The aluminium profiles will accept various glazing options including integral blinds.
The doors to slide over a glazed screen which is secured within the frame structure by two concealed aluminium channels. Glass is secured using appropriate beads & gaskets.
Stainless steel carriers connect the doors to a 'low friction' recirculating bearing system sliding in an aluminium track. 'Damper' mechanisms (not self or soft-closing) are active when the doors are at the closed and fully open positions. The pelmet conceals the track and has a 'hold-open' lid for ease of maintenance.
