Application

Most suited for use in hospital environments where ease of use and flexibility are required. Flo-Motion doors feature cassettes with recirculating ball guides, sliding on a low resistance linear track with damper mechanisms at the fully opened and closed positions.

The high number of balls ensure continuous contact with bearing surfaces, as well as the contained roller, which increases the slide load rate capability and decreases the movement force. The doors can be easily opened and closed by a child and with no power assistance.

Our sliding doors offer excellent light transfer, privacy, ease of use and more importantly, a better overall patient experience.

Description

The doorset is formed from non-thermal aluminium extruded box section and includes a frame, consisting of two jambs (100 x 45 mm) and a 125 x 100 mm transom bar. The frame fits within the structural opening, with the doors sliding over the glazed screen and wall. The fixed screen offers additional support to the frame and is secured by two concealed aluminium channels.

The doors and panel are formed from various 100 x 47mm aluminium profiles. The doors are prepared with a concealed bottom channel to operate with a floor mounted nylon guide. The aluminium profiles will accept various glazing options, including integral blinds and switchable glass.

Stainless steel carriers connect the doors to a 'low friction' recirculating bearing system sliding in an aluminium track. 'Damper' mechanisms (not self or soft-closing) are active when the doors are at the closed and fully open positions. The pelmet conceals the track and has a 'hold-open' lid for ease of maintenance.
