Description
A classic design of cast iron bollard, who's simple lines also make it appropriate for more modern schemes.
Manufactured in 100% recycled, engineering grade 250 cast iron - made by re-melting and casting old vehicle brake discs, these bollards are durable and long-lasting. At any stage of their lifespan they are 100% recyclable and lose no volume or material quality in the recycling process.
Features and benefits:
- Expected to last well over 100 years once oxidized.
- 100% recyclable.
- Available in any grade of SG ductile cast iron which can benefit the bollards yield strength.
- Can have holes cored through to accept rails, or have eyes, bosses and bracketry included to they accept signage, chains and gates.
- Can be manufactured as lift out or folding into a trough using the ASF 650 and the ASF 652 systems.
- Can be manufactured in aluminium to reduce weight for lift out and fold down options.
- Collars can be painted in contrasting colours for decorative reasons as well as making them more visible.
- Retro-reflective banding can be included.
- Can be manufactured in materials that can be used in conjunction with, or as a key part of HVM projects.
- Can be used to meet the requirements of Martins Law and Protect UK.
