A one part, low modulus, modified polymer sealant which cures, on exposure to moisture vapour, to form an elastic rubber.

Recommended for use in many applications, including perimeter sealing in curtain walling and polyester powder coated frames, structural joints in brickwork and blockwork, and joints in lightweight cladding.

Not recommended for floor joints.

Technical Data:

  • Skin time at 20º C and 65% relative humidity: 30 minutes.
  • Application temperature: + 5º C to + 35º C.
  • Service temperature: - 40º C to + 90º C.
  • Typical Shore A Hardness: 30.
  • Cure rate at 20º C and 65% relative humidity: 1-2 mm per 24 hours.
  • UV resistance: Very good.
  • Service life: 20+ years.
  • Chemical Resistance: Resistant to most dilute acids and alkalis. Organic solvents may cause the sealant to swell and lose adhesion.

Movement Accommodation:

  • Butt joints (movement in tension and compression): 70%. Must not exceed ± 33% in any one direction.
  • Lap joints (movement in shear): 125%. Must not exceed ± 66% in any one direction.
  • Modulus at 100% extension: 0.29 N/mm².
  • Ultimate elongation: 550%.
  • Tensile strength at break: 0.45 N/mm².

Joint sizes:


  • Minimum: 6 mm.
  • Maximum: 25 mm (single application).
  • Maximum: 35 mm (multiple applications).


  • Minimum: 10 mm on porous substrates; 6 mm on non-porous substrates.
  • Maximum: 18 mm.

Width: Depth ratio (within above minimum/ maximum restrictions):

  • Butt joints: 2:1.
  • Lap joints: 1:1.
