Gypsol TimBRE, a multi-purpose screeding solution, especially for use over timber substrates.
Gypsol TimBRE is a free-flowing and self-compacting liquid screed that you can use in various applications, including both commercial and domestic projects. Customers use the product to produce a smooth, flat, and level floor to form the subbase for subsequent floor coverings for internal floors in a large variety of constructions where they form the substrate using timber.
Customers are specially trained screeders who use specialized equipment to pump the screed into place. Because Gypsol TimBRE offers a concrete feel to a timber floor, it eliminates issues with creaking and imparts excellent acoustic and thermal properties to the floor.
Gypsol TimBRE is designed and independently tested for use in acoustic and non-acoustic flooring systems which use timber joists as their primary supporting structure.
Gypsol Binder is an integral component of Gypsol TimBRE, a liquid screed suitable for use in both residential and commercial projects with a timber substructure. It can be used with or without underfloor heating and can be used to enhance the acoustic performance of the floor to meet or exceed Part E of the UK building regulations. Gypsol TimBRE screed is non-combustible and can offer a creak-free, concrete feels to a timber-supported floor. Gypsol TimBRE is approved for use in the SoundBar® system.
Features and benefits:
*A structural engineer should always be consulted to ensure that the sub base is suitable to receive the added mass of the screed.
**Independently tested and based on 50 mm depth at 20˚C and 60% RH. Complete test data available on request.
