Zinc-coated steel helical nails for use in flat roof constructions.

Features and benefits:

• Helical nails are a quick and reliable fixing for use in warm roof applications.
• Unlike traditional nails, they rotate as they are driven in, inducing a self-tapping action and consequently do not split or bounce timbers.
• Manufactured from zinc coated steel in three standard lengths - other lengths are available in increments of 5 mm.
• Standard lengths suit panel depths from 85–160 mm.
• The 18 mm diameter head simplifies installation.

Fixing:

- Rate:

• The nails should be installed at a rate of 6.9 per square metre, using a hammer.
• Minimum embedment in the joist: 35 mm.

- Recommended axial spacing:

• 400 mm joist centres: 400 x 600 mm.
• 600 mm joist centres: 600 x 400 mm.
