AliDrain Deck Level Piped Drainage System

A deck-level integrated drainage system designed to capture and channel rainwater and spillages to reduce the risk of liquids falling onto passers-by or lower balconies underneath to achieve compliant piped drainage.

This AliDrain system comes in two variants- Dual Gutter option with the AliDeck Drainage Channel sited between AliDeck Decking Boards, wastewater is directed to the ends of the balcony where it is captured by the AliDeck Drainage Gutters at each end of the balcony surface. Outlets and overflows are installed in a position to suit the balcony steelwork. The second option Wrap Around Gutter system with the AliDeck Drainage Channel sited between AliDeck Decking Boards, wastewater is directed to the ends of the balcony where it is captured by the AliDeck Drainage Gutters at each end of the balcony surface but is also connected along the front elevation to reduce the number of downpipes required. Outlets and overflows are installed in a position to suit the balcony steelwork.

Drainage gutter is available in four variants:

• Senior Access Gutter - to suit installations using 30 mm Senior AliDeck aluminium decking boards and drainage channels.
• Senior Wide Access Gutter - As above, but with a 140 mm wide gutter for extra capacity.
• Junior Access Gutter - to suit installations using 20 mm Lite, Junior and Ultra AliDeck aluminium decking boards and drainage channels.
• Junior Wide Access Gutter - As above, but with a 140 mm wide gutter for extra capacity.

Drainage channel is available in two variants:

• Junior Drainage Channel - to suit installations using 20 mm Lite and Junior AliDeck aluminium decking boards and access gutters.

The manufacturer recommends the use of their Elevated Overflow within the gutter in order to meet the requirements of BS 8579:2020 and Building Control organisations for effective overflow provision.
