Made-to-measure access panel provided with an antibacterial powder-coated finish, manufactured in the UK from Zintec steel.
Application
The Antibacterial Powder Coating is designed for the below projects:
- Hospitals.
- Laboratories.
- Clean rooms.
For application into walls and ceilings where regular maintenance to services is required. Will fit into the structural membrane of a joint-less plasterboard wall and ceiling system.
Please Note: the actual size of structural opening in the wall/ceiling needs to be 7 mm larger than the overall panel size (i.e. the hole size in the ceiling of 600 x 600 mm would require the panel size of 593 x 593mm etc).
Description
Antibacterial Powder Coat is available on all of the metal faced access panels including loft hatches, riser doors, meter over-boxes and access panels and provides as effective antibacterial agent which kills most species of bacteria including MRSA, Salmonella, E coli and C difficile. This makes it the perfect solution for all hospital, laboratory and clean room projects.
The manufacturer suggests opting for the panel from the Airtight Rated range which are tested in accordance with EN 1634-3:2004 & BS 5368: Part 1: 1976 for added hygiene coverage.
