ABG blueroof - Blue Roof 108mm system - Podium Deck applications

ABG blueroof provides stormwater attenuation capacity at source within the podium deck construction or landscaping areas of a development. Amenity use / pedestrian access is suitable with the 108 mm drainage void system build up.

The system comprises:

1. Restrictor chamber: The control function that limits water flow from the podium areas to the agreed discharge rates.
2. Attenuation and drainage void: Water falling on the podium deck surface percolates through the blue roof build up to the geocomposite layer. In periods of low rainfall it simply flows through the attenuation voids to the restrictor chamber and into the drainage outlet. However when rainfall exceeds the calculated maximum permissible discharge rate, the void is utilised to attenuate the excess water and the outflow rate is controlled via the restrictor chamber.
3. Up to three geotextile filtration / separation layers: wrapped around the drainage and attenuation layers. Water passing through this layer is filtered to prevent particulates / debris from entering the system.
