Description

A range of 14/ 15 mm thick engineered, lacquered oak flooring boards. FSC certified, suitable for use with under floor heating.

Can be used with a variety of accessories including threshold strips, transition strips, stair nosings, skirtings and radiator surrounds.

Standard product features

Thickness:

  • Amethyst E104, Amethyst E122, Sapphire E379, TW-E748 and TW-E768T XY: 15 mm.
  • TW‐E1250 XY: 14 mm.

Material:

11 mm thick multi-layer ply backing with 3–4 mm thick solid cut veneer top layer.

Edges:

  • Amethyst E104, Amethyst E122, Sapphire E379, TW‐E1250 XY: Tongue and grooved and micro bevelled on all four sides.
  • TW-E748 and TW-E768T XY: Tongue and grooved and straight edge on all four sides.

Grade:

  • Amethyst E122 and TW-E748: ABC.
  • Sapphire E379, TW‐E1250 XY: ABCD.
  • Amethyst E104: CD.
  • TW-E768T XY: MIXED.

Standards:

Meets all load bearing requirements of BS 6399-1 and also compliant with BS 6399-1 Table 1, Section 3 for Museum Floors and Art Galleries for exhibitions.

FSC certification:

Amethyst E104, Amethyst E122, TW-E768T XY, TW‐E1250 XY: FSC mix 70%.

Sapphire E379 and TW-E748: FSC 100%.

Product Options

Size:

Boards may include split size boards when supplied.

Fixing:

All wood flooring should be fitted in accordance with BS 8201. Depending on the prevailing conditions, engineered oak can be fitted fully bonded using SW890 adhesive, unbonded using underlays or secret fixed.
