A seal for expansion joints provides a 100% watertight seal.
Application
Suitable for roof applications and installation under metal cover plates (floor to floor, wall to wall, floor to corner and wall to corner conditions).
Description
The 1100 Foam Seal provides a 100% watertight seal. Ridged sides trap and pool epoxy (JPR003) providing superior adhesion to the joint surface.
Features and benefits:
- High heat, weather, and UV resistant.
- Allows for 50% tension | 50% compression |100% shear movement.
- Made of a nitrogen blown polyethylene material which is more environmentally friendly than EVA foam seals.
- Optional Coating: Seal can be painted to match any wall colour using ColorMatch, a field-applied paint that can match any Sherwin-Williams® or Pantone® colour. See ColorMatch (JPR007) technical data for more information.
- To ASTM D3575.
- For join widths larger then 76 mm in horizontal applications, JointMaster recommends a cover plate over the 1100 Foam Seal.
