1 Hour Industrial Fire Resisting Roller Shutter - Fireguard FG01 - Fire Resisting Roller Shutter

A 60-minute fire-resistant roller shutter with Fire Integrity (E) 60 minutes, FIRAS certified, and compliant with BS EN 16034. Automatically activates in an emergency upon receiving a signal from a fire alarm, ideal for commercial and industrial use.

Features and benefits:

• Recommended maximum width up to 10 000 mm.
• Tested to BS EN 1634-1 and compliant with BS EN 16034:2014.
• Galvanized steel finish with powder coating available at additional cost.
• Manufactured from 76 mm cold rolled 20 gauge galvanized steel sections.
• The shutter box is manufactured from 1.5 mm bright spangle galvanized pressed steel coil casing, available in different designs to suit project requirements.
• Other models in the range can provide 120 or 240 minutes' fire protection (specified separately).
• Electrically operated through industrial grade 1 phase motor controlled by up/stop/close controller.
• Auto-reset solenoid for integration with fire alarm to enable the motor to automatically unbrake and close under controlled decent.
• FCP03 fire panel which can be interconnected to the Fire Alarm to allow closing when receiving fire signal.
• Further safety devices are available, dependent on requirements and operational circumstances.
• Audio visual warning and timer delay.

FIRAS is the mark of endorsement of competency in the installation of products and systems, vital for achieving the protection required and is accredited by UKAS to BS EN ISO/IEC 17065:2012.

Insurances could be invalid if proof of a competent product installer is not verified.
