Application

Cold roof and wall applications in all shapes, minimum roof pitch 1.5°.

Description

Aluminium standing seam profiles, which meet construction and design requirements to create roofs and facades that combine functionality with aesthetics.


Features and benefits:

  • Suitable for cold roof constructions in all shapes, and pitches from 1.5°, catering for all types of supporting structures.
  • Can be flexibly adjusted to suit the layout, geometry and dimensions of any building.
  • Strong and lightweight.
  • Continuous lengths of 150 m and larger are available when production takes place on-site.
  • A non-penetrative, patented clip attaches the sheets to the substructure. These clips are locked into the seam to ensure smooth thermal cycling of the external sheet over the clip head, whilst facilitating the spanning capacity under high wind loading.
  • The mechanical zipping of the seams produces a load bearing, permanent connection.
  • The weather-tight seam permits any residual moisture to evaporate through the seam, allowing the roof to breathe naturally.
  • Provides a solution for roof penetrations, joints and gable ends.
  • Non-­flammable, and resistant to flying sparks and radiant heat.
  • Can be used as a lightning conductor in accordance with ENV 61024-1.
  • Highly resistant to corrosion.
  • Non-sensitive to UV rays.
  • Resistant to micro-organisms and ‘ageing’.
