Aerolite Granite

Aerolite Granite was the first material option from our Aerolite range of reinforced lightweight stone. The basis of the panel is also the reinforcement for our Stonework range of Sandstone and Limestone. The material is primarily offered as a ventilated façade panel in various size options in 17-20mm thickness dependent upon the face finish required. Aerolite Ultralite

The T.I. Dynamic Facades Aerolite Stone collection is a lightweight reinforced range of stone with different reinforcement criteria. Recently there has been a client design requirement for large floor to floor stone infill panels and column enclosures. The Aerolite Ultralite system is the perfect solution to this design and performance requirement. Aerolite Ultralite panels are manufactured from aluminium sheeting, aluminium box supports and aluminium honeycomb reinforcement to produce a 19mm thick, fully enclosed cassette panel with integral fixing/installation locators on the rear and side of the panels... *Please visit our website for the whole case study*

Arsenal Towers, Qeensland Road, Islington, London

Tiles International worked closely with CZWG & Kier Construction throughout the facade design & tender process resulting in the successful installation of our Creaton TONALITY® clay terracotta rainscreen system. Creaton TONALITY® has an extensive colour range and a wide selection of sizes giving architects complete design flexibility. Creaton tiles were supplied in a Blue gloss finish colour to a modular, horizontal design of 200mm high x 400mm wide resulting in a stunning façade with multi facets. The Creaton system is geared towards ease & speed of installation & for this project the tiles were fixed onto the BAS carrier rail.

Barham Park Estate Phase 1A & 1B, Wembley, London

TI Tiles International worked closely with Countryside Properties & PRP Architects throughout the facade design and tender process resulting in the successful installation of our Creaton TONALITY® clay terracotta rainscreen system. Creaton TONALITY® has an extensive colour range and a wide selection of sizes offering architects complete design flexibility. For this project, the tiles were supplied in various shades of red & grey to a modular design of 150mm high x 675mm long resulting in a stunning facade. The Creaton system is geared towards quick and easy installation. The tiles were fixed onto the Classic CLS vertical continuous carrier rail.

Bronglais Hospital, Aberyswyth, Wales

Project Name: Bronglais Hospital, Aberystwyth, Wales Architect: BDP Main Contractor: Laing O’Rourke Installer: Central Roofing (South Wales) Ltd Material & m2: Engineered Ston, beige silk, 600m2. More information at www.tilesint.co.uk The new hospital marks a major investment of £38million by the Welsh Assembly Government for Hywel Dda University Health Board. BDP architects designed this façade with lightweight engineered ston panels, stretcher bonded with random coursing heights. Eternal corners were pre-formed, filled and dressed to achieve a solid stone appearance.

citizenM, Lavington St, London - Fibreform G, GRC Rainscreen Cladding

Axis Architects designed a simply luxurious building with stunning features and extensive glazing complimented well by our Fibreform G 3D facade. Our Fibreform G is a versatile and dynamic product that allows the designer more flexibility over the final look. Fibreform G is a lightweight concrete panel, reinforced with glass fibres, that can be shaped and sized to suit the exact specification of any project. It has the performance characteristics expected of reinforced concrete, yet each panel is just 15mm thick. We worked alongside Axis Architects, Bowmer and Kirkland & Keyclad to provide a contemporary hotel at a high standard.

Creaton Tonality Ventilated Façade

The term “Terracotta rain screen” became popular in the late 1990’s for German clay tile facades. Their popularity was sparked by the design and completion of the Potzdammer Platz in Berlin by architect - Renzo Piano. From that moment onwards, many architects in the UK and Europe were looking for the same product, colour and feel for projects that they were involved in. Darwen Aldridge Community Academy (DACA), Darwen, Lancashire

The Darwen Aldridge Community Academy building earned a gold award for Educational Building of the Year. Tiles International worked closely with all parties throughout the facade design and tender process resulting in the successful installation of our Creaton system. For this project The Creaton tiles were supplied in pearl gray to a modular design of 200mm high x 1200mm long resulting in a stunning facade. The Creaton system is geared towards quick and easy installation. The tiles were fixed onto the Classic BAS vertical continuous carrier rail.

Engineered Ston

Engineered Ston is our collection of man-made materials that have aesthetic and sensory qualities relating them directly to natural products. Our initial product was a composite stone panel consisting of cement and natural minerals that replicated a natural stone and a contemporary range of modern monolithic finishes. We have supplied many buildings in the UK with various colours from White, Portland, Light and Mid Beige predominantly in a 1200mm x 600mm panel size. GDF Suez Headquarters, Aberdeen

TI Aerolite® natural granite system was specified by Halliday Fraser Munro for the new GDF Suez headquarters in Aberdeen. This prestigious project is part of the ongoing regeneration of the North Dee Business Quarter overlooking the banks of the River Dee. The natural granite facade creates a striking appearance balanced with the elegance and durability that only natural stone cladding can deliver; along with its strong sustainability ethos this new 40,700 sq.ft. office building is the first in Aberdeen to achieve the BREEAM Excellent rating under the 2011 scheme.

Konvortec

As part of our strategy of offering the marketplace innovative options for façade finishes that will enhance a client’s design, we offer a glass ventilated rain screen system in almost any RAL colour in glass. This system is designed by our German supply partner Konvortec who have been offering this system in mainland Europe for almost 15 years now. Luma Apartments, Park Royal, London - Creaton Tonality Terracotta Rainscreen Cladding

T.I.Tiles International worked closely with CZWG & Durkan Group throughout the facade design & tender process resulting in the successful installation of our Creaton TONALITY® clay terracotta rainscreen system. Creaton TONALITY® has an extensive colour range and a wide selection of sizes which offer architects complete design flexibility. Creaton tiles were supplied in a special Green gloss finish to a modular, portrait design of 900mm high x 300mm wide resulting in a stunning facade. Back in 2013, T.I. Dynamic Facades participated in the completion of the Morrisons, Cardiff project. We are very pleased to have supplied our authentic Engineered Ston panels in Beige for this stunning façade. For this project, we collaborated with DLA Architecture, MH Massey (Installer) and ISG (Main Contractor) ensuring that the façade met the high standards that we operate to. Next Home & Garden. Hedge End, Southampton

“Outstanding” - Lord Wolfson - Chief Executive of Next at the opening in 2014. The design by Next’s architects called for Jura Beige limestone faced walls & feature columns to 3 of the 4 elevations, structural glass and an ETFE roof over the garden centre, conservatory and entrance areas. The Midas team followed an innovative approach to the project, replacing the suggested traditional masonry cavity wall construction with the Aerolite Rainspan rainscreen cladding solution. Our lightweight natural limestone panels are hung on cladding rails fixed directly to the front skin of the composite panels, clear spanning between the main steel frame.

Olympia Theatre, Glasgow

In 2012, T.I. Dynamic Facades successfully completed a project alongside Page Park Architects and RIG Cladding Co. which saw the £10m development of the iconic Olympia Theatre in Glasgow. Strong communication and collaboration between the involved parties meant that the project was delivered in a smooth, timely manner and to the high expectations to which we operate. Police HQ, Aykley Heads, Durham

This new building is a state-of-the-art facility which will house a communications centre and support functions, along with a range of other departments. It will hold over 600 staff. Newcastle architects Ryder’s were entrusted to design this facility with lightweight modern building materials. The facade was a rainscreen design offering better performance and a wide range of cladding materials. Ti-tiles dynamic Facades Engineered Ston rainscreen system in white silk finish makes up the bulk of the external skin with feature areas of Aerolite Granite polished strategically located to enhance the design.

Saracen Street Health Centre, Glasgow

T.I. Tiles International are very pleased with the final outcome of the £10m Possilpark Health & Care Centre on Saracen Street, Glasgow where our stunning White Urban Glass was chosen for the façade of this elegant building (456m²). This new facility is to be used as a catalyst for the regeneration of the local community through a building that is flexible and can be conveniently adapted to future healthcare delivery models. Silver Fin - Aberdeen

The regeneration of Union Street Aberdeen is nearing completion. The Silverfin office development was brought together by Titan Investments with Cooper Cromar Architects, Sir Robert McAlpine (main contractor), Dane Architectural (curtain walling installer) and TI Dynamic Facades - Ultralite Architectural granite facade. The design has been developed by Cooper Cromar Architects and is expected to play a pivotal role in the redevelopment of the west end of Union Street, which is Aberdeen’s key civic thoroughfare. The Alexander Graham Bell Centre, located on the Moray College UHI Campus in Elgin

The Alexander Graham Bell Centre is a new healthcare teaching facility forming an extension to the Moray College Campus in Elgin. Ti tiles worked closely with Edinburgh architects JM on their design and Main Contractor Morgan Sindall through the tender process; A2O one of Dynamic Facades most experienced installers was appointed to install the Fibreform G, lightweight GRC rainscreen facade & bespoke preformed units from concept to completion on time and within budget. The project was shortlisted for the architectural award - Educational sector.

The Nicolson Institute in Stornoway, Na h-Eileanan an Iar

The original school was designed and built around an impressive Clock Tower which played an important part in the new design ensuring the specification of the lightweight natural stone facade was in keeping with its traditions laid down 140 years earlier. Architects 3D Reid in Edinburgh were entrusted with the design and a joint-venture of building contractors of Farrans Construction, H&J Martin and David Patton & Sons took on the implementation of TI Aerolite stone cladding suitable to be supported by a lightweight backing wall whilst still robust to withstand a possible blast load from the nearby gas installation.

The Slaemuir complex, Port Glasgow

Architect: Archiall Norr Main Contractor: Graham Construction Installer: Lakesmere Material & m2: Aerolite Granite, Flamed CSV(C)GP, 2700m2. The Slaemuir complex has become the new home for Port Glasgow High School and St Stephen's High School as well as a new Additional Support Needs (ASN) School. Archiall Norr architects and Graham construction chose Aerolite Natural Granite for the external rainscreen package as part of a two year new build project to construct a Shared Campus Secondary School. This project has been commended by the Scottish design Awards, has been shortlisted for the Glasgow Institute of Architecture Design Awards 2014 .

Travelodge, Morecambe
