The Bath Spa University development is an attractive courtyard design with individual houses for up to 10 students where 561 will be housed in these new residential units amidst the beautiful countryside. The objective of the scheme was to deliver with minimal disruption to the student's experience on a tight schedule maximising the use of the summer holiday period to suit delivering the programme deadline. Phase 2 of the Bath Spa University development consists of over eight blocks, each utilising an application of external wall insulation covering 4,800m2with a value of £665.000.

Langley Academy Primary School, is a modern 2 storey development which will house 630 nursery, reception and junior pupils in Slough Berkshire. To carry out the main works of this project, the sub-contractor was appointed to construct the building using a concrete frame and cement particle board, then wrapped in high quality external wall insulation and render materials from SPSenvirowall. Working collaboratively, this saw the installation of 1100 meters of 200mm insulation, which met the desired thermal performance of the building as well as contributing to the fire and acoustic requirements.

SPSenvirowall’s RendaClad, the perfect solution of choice transformed a vacant site in Blackburn. This unique project features a mix of 73 modular homes consisting of two, three and four-bed houses and bungalows for Blackburn City Council. The units are timber-framed and BOPAS accredited making SPSenvirowall’s RendaClad System the perfect fit. SPSenvirowall supplied approximately 6,500m2 of its RendaClad System consisting of 9mm RendaClad board, Envirorend and a mixture of flexible SpeedySlips.

The Sedgewick and Barwick high rise building in Bristol is council owned and has been in need of improvements to prevent damp, cold and condensation. As part of the Bristol Homes Standard, Bristol City Council has been working to provide warm, safe and energy efficient homes for its tenants via its Warmer Homes project. Over 4,000m2 of SPSenvirowall Wall System 2, utilising GEPS with an Envirorend base coat, mechanical fixing and acrylic brick slips was installed as part of the external wall build-up.

Skerries Road Southway Campus in Plymouth comprises of 67 timber frame units supplied by local manufacturer and STA member Cornwall Timber Build. Originally a traditional block exterior, the architects changed the design to accommodate the innovative RendaClad façade. The programme was delivered 3 months ahead of schedule on the overall contract when utilising a form of modern methods of construction with the use of SPSenvirowall’s RendaClad. Whilst not satisfied with the BBA for a minimum 30-year service life, SPSenvirowall went into contract with BOPAS BLP and Lloyds Register to achieve a stand-alone assurance.

The 18-storey Telereal development now known as The Helm, comprises 159 residential units, 2,800sqft of retail space and 37,000sqft of Grade A office and underground car parking, developed by Watkin Jones and utilising SPSenvirowall’s new and innovative Cavity System 1. The £300,000 façade package utilised a high-performing, buff flexible brick slip (SpeedySlip) and 100-150mm mineral wool to achieve a 0.20 u-value calculation. The application of brick slips to the Cavity System gives the Helm development a traditional and authentic finish desired by the client.

Twinnell House is an 18 storey residential block of flats in Bristol. SPSenvirowall system which consisted of 4,500m2 of 140mm grey EPS with an acrylic brick slip finish in red nuance and Staffordshire blue and a coloured render was supplied. Once installed, the u-value calculation went from 2.06 W/m²K to 0.23 W/m²K providing residents with a much warmer home and lower energy costs.

SPSenvirowall provided its innovative new product, the Cavity System 2 to the development, delivering results which are outstanding and produce an intriguing and engaging brickwork façade. To reach the highest standard of fire safety for the external cladding, SPSenvirowall supplied its Cavity System 2 solution for its A2-s1, d0 fire-rated classification in accordance with BS EN13501-1.

SPSenvirowall high-performance render only system used on new £44 million Wixams Retirement ExtraCare Village near Bedford Town Centre. The SPSenvirowall render only system application was undertaken by an approved contractor who worked closely with SPSenvirowall and applied over 1300m2 of EnviroSil 1.5mm silicone topcoat colour WH89. This protective SPSenvirowall silicone topcoat is a high vapour permeable product making it ideal to use as a finish with all types of insulation, especially in conjunction with a mineral wool insulation and is available in 1.00mm, 1.50mm, 2.00mm and 3.00mm grain size.
