The Ascent Aluminium walkway is a standardised modular system allowing specifiers to design compliant walkways for access on all major manufacturers and their metal profile composite & built up on site roofing systems. Manufactured in accordance with CE / UKCA certifications. They are tested to BS EN 516:2006 Class 1 Type C. The walkway can be configured with handrail to withstand a loading of either 0.36 kN (general duty) or 0.74 kN (heavy duty). The Ascent walkway is unique in that it can achieve this loading without the need for additional bracing - allowing the walkway to be placed against the area to be accessed. The walkway can be levelled to falls across the pitch of the roof or ramped / stepped when ascending. The walkway is mechanically affixed to the roof covering. Can be PPC

Ascent Companionway / Ships ladders provide a simple access solutions to roof or raised flooring height for maintenance and other occasional use. The Companionway ladder (or ships ladder as it is often known) is predominantly the ladder of choice where more frequent access is required but space is at a premium. The ladder is inclined at between 60-75 degrees and comprises treads rather than rungs, complemented with a handrail / grab-rail to either side of the ladder flight. The companionway ladder is manufactured following strict CE / UKCA guidelines and can be supplied with a range of fixing brackets to secure back to the structure. The Companionway ladder can be supplied in either Mill finished aluminium or Galvanised mild steel and can be powder coated to meet clients requirements.
