The Ascent Aluminium walkway is a standardised modular system allowing specifiers to design compliant walkways for access on all major manufacturers and their metal profile composite & built up on site roofing systems.
Manufactured in accordance with CE / UKCA certifications. They are tested to BS EN 516:2006 Class 1 Type C. The walkway can be configured with handrail to withstand a loading of either 0.36 kN (general duty) or 0.74 kN (heavy duty). The Ascent walkway is unique in that it can achieve this loading without the need for additional bracing - allowing the walkway to be placed against the area to be accessed.
The walkway can be levelled to falls across the pitch of the roof or ramped / stepped when ascending. The walkway is mechanically affixed to the roof covering. Can be PPC

These instructions provide guidance for the installer to ensure the units are assembled in accordance with the manufacturers design intent.
Ascent Companionway / ships ladder

Ascent Companionway / Ships ladders provide a simple access solutions to roof or raised flooring height for maintenance and other occasional use.
The Companionway ladder (or ships ladder as it is often known) is predominantly the ladder of choice where more frequent access is required but space is at a premium. The ladder is inclined at between 60-75 degrees and comprises treads rather than rungs, complemented with a handrail / grab-rail to either side of the ladder flight.
The companionway ladder is manufactured following strict CE / UKCA guidelines and can be supplied with a range of fixing brackets to secure back to the structure. The Companionway ladder can be supplied in either Mill finished aluminium or Galvanised mild steel and can be powder coated to meet clients requirements.

Aluminium fixed vertical ladders are designed to provide safe access for heights between 2 - 10m in a single flight all in accordance with BS 4211. (larger sizes are available). The Ascent ladders can be supplied with / without safety cage and guardrail. These instructions provide guidance for the installer to ensure the units are assembled in accordance with the manufacturers design intent.

Ascent Step over Units provide simple access solutions to complex access issues, including how to get over Mechanical & Electrical services including ducting, pipework, cable trays and parapet walls without compromising the health and safety of the worker. They are typically 800mm wide with handrail to both sides. They can be provided in both Mild Steel galvanised & Aluminium Mill Finished or Powder Coated to your requirements. The step over units can be both Free standing supported on non-penetrative rubber feet or affixed to the structure of the building.

Ascent Fall protection & Ascent abseil anchor posts are designed and tested for use as Fall Protection anchor devices as EN 795 Class A1 anchors & EN 795 Class C. And, as abseil anchor devices as BS 8610.
Primarily designed for use on reinforced concrete Flat roofs the posts are manufactured from Galvanised mild steel following strict CE / UKCA manufacturing procedures.
The posts are available in a range of heights from 200mm - 800mm to suit the roofs build up. Manufactured from Mild steel the posts are typically galvanised, but can be supplied powder coated to suit client requirements

Ascent Aluminium ladders are designed & CE / UKCA manufactured to provide safe access / egress to and from rooftops, roof access hatches & raised platforms. The ladders can be supplied with or without hoops for fall protection and with a range of top access platforms & fixing brackets to suit the background / building to which they will be affixed. The ladders are supplied in a maximum flight of upto 10m, Where multiple flight ladders are required intermediate landing platforms can be supplied. The ladders can be supplied with a range of accessories to prevent unauthorised access and to improve safety. The ladders can be powder-coated to customer requirements.

Ascent Access Ladders are manufactured following CE / UKCA accredited procedures in both Galvanised Mild Steel & Aluminium. Available up to 10m in a single flight, or in multiple flights separated by landing platforms. The ladders can be galvanised and powder-coated to meet a clients specific requirements. The ladders can be supplied with or without hoops for fall protection. A range of additional safety & security items can be supplied including ladder-up posts for hatch access, self-closing gates & anti-climb security covers. A range of proprietary brackets are available to secure the ladder to the building.

"The D-i.D Tag provides a weather & UV resistant cover for safety critical information. The D-i.D Tag was developed specifically to meet the needs of the Fall protection, Guardrail, Ladder and Plant & Equipment Industries where regular inspection of equipment is critical to ensure its on-going safe operation.
The purpose of an Identity tag on a piece of work equipment is to tell the user at a glance if the equipment is ""in-test"". To do this the information has to be clearly visible and easy to read. A tag which is illegible, smudged or UV faded doe snot give the user the information he/she requires. The D-i.D tag protects the safety critical information."

D-marc have developed a demarcation barrier system for flat roof tops. The D-marc can be used for the purpose of preventing access to hazards during regular rooftop maintenance or to demarcate a safe route of access across a roof. Wherever roof access is required designers are tasked with creating a safe means of access which can be identified by a demarcation system.
D-mac 105 is classed as a form of Collective protection in accordance with the HSE's hierarchy of risk management as WAHR 2005. The D-marc is a free standing solution which is wind tunnel tested to withstand windspeeds of 105mph as per BS 6399
