About Mandik

Founded in 1990, Mandik is a major European manufacturer of Fire dampers, Smoke control dampers, AHU’s, VAV and CAV’s and remains a family-owned OEM that prides itself on its design ingenuity, operational innovation, flexibility and high quality.

Mandik export products to over 30 countries, and in 2020 our UK Office was founded to market products under the Mandik name. Our Bristol based team has been highly successful, growing from 2 people to a team of 12 in a few short years.

Mandik have been met with success by providing solid honest advice, compliance training for all clients, superb products, all coupled with customer focused solutions to our ever-evolving UK industry.

Mandik pride ourselves on our product testing program and partner with many companies from Rockwool, Etex, Hilti, FSI, to Eurobond & Comfloor so that we can continue to develop customer led solutions, our technical team offer guidance and selection advice on all of our products and know the products and applications intimately, we aim to offer a consultative approach to product selection, and welcome early stage involvement from initial design stages through to project completion.

With many years of experience, Mandik have also developed CIBSE approved CPD’s, giving you the knowledge and understanding to have confidence in the compliancy of your applications. Naturally, Mandik are very proud to be part of many trade associations such as the ASFP, BESA & Feta.

Our Product Range

·        Fire Dampers – Mandik has the largest range of fire dampers (14) and motorized fire dampers (FD & MFD) in Europe. We offer a wide range of dampers in both simple manual or motorized formats, each with access hatches and endoscopic camera slots, to suit an even wider range of applications, from standard lightweight or solid wall applications to Rockwool Fire Barriers, Asymmetrical Shaft walls from BG & Siniat, CLT walls and floors, tested remote from standard construction in standard GSS duct or FR duct, Deflection head solutions, up to 4 multiple dampers in the same builders work opening (termed batteries) and Whitewall installations for Euroclad & Paroc type constructions and of course standard 30m 45m, 60m, 90m, 120m & 180m wall constructions. Mandik are consistently testing new solutions to offer ever greater flexibility to the industry. All Fire Dampers are tested in accordance with BS EN 1366-2 and classified according to BS EN 13501-3 with full DoP, CoCoP and clear installation information.

·        Smoke Control Dampers – Mandik also have 7 x dedicated Smoke Control Dampers (SCD) and are the only manufacturer to offer both a dedicated AA AND a dedicated MA damper. Mandik are also able to provide a dedicated Single AND Multi compartment damper. Mandik have tested in wall/floor and duct applications both Ve & Ho orientations with both Fire Protection and Flameshield ductwork. All dampers are available with Mandik tested fire-rated housing for controls interfaces in 24v, 240v or 24v 0-10V format, all dampers available with CMod are able to be used for simple 3 position/balanced operation to save space on 2 branch extract system. All Smoke Control Dampers are tested in accordance with BS EN 1366-10 and classified according to BS EN 13501-4,

·        Smoke Control Systems – To accompany our industry leading Smoke Control Dampers, we offer a Mandik PLC Smoke Control System fully compliant to BS ISO 21927-9, including fire tested damper interfaces, Fire rated fuse spur housings, loop isolators as well as a range of Control Panel options such as fan signaling and/or fan control, each system can have 96 addresses per loop, unlimited loops and a max loop length of 2KM comprising of 1000m out and 1000m back and of course, 100% repeatable 3-position systems are possible.

·        Ancillaries – To complement our range of dampers we have a selection of ancillaries, with varying benefits; aesthetic enhancements, reinforcing compliancy and ease of installation. These come in the way of items such as Grilles, Breakaway Joints and Mounting Brackets.
