CoustiLam CVA-O - Polyurethane (PUR) foam insulation

CoustiLam is a composite material consisting of sound absorbing polyurethane foam laminated to a sound insulating polymeric barrier. This configuration produces a product which can be used in applications that require both sound absorption and insulation. A wide range of surface finishes are available depending on individual requirements.

Three products are available within the CoustiLam range, each with their own applications:

CoustiLam FX is designed to reduce sound transmission and reduce noise in general purpose applications. The composite consist of a polymeric barrier (5 or 10kg/m2) laminated between two layers of polyurethane.

CoustiLam NFX is designed to reduce sound transmission and noise. The composite consists of a polymeric barrier laminated between two layers of Class 0 polyurethane foam. It is used when there is the need for a fire rated surface finish.

Both CoustiLam FX and NFX are available with a number of surface finishes.

CoustiLam CVA-O is a composite consisting of a polymeric barrier laminated between two layers of Class 0 polyurethane foam. It is used above suspended ceiling systems with the view to reduce noise transmission from room to room through any voids.

DuctiLag H - Sound attenuators

By reducing the noise transmission within ductwork and pipes from the outside environment, DuctiLag® is able to control the noise released from such applications.

DuctiLag® acoustic blankets comprise of several composite materials, depending on the application.

DuctiLag® H consists of a heavy polymeric barrier with a Class 0 foil surface to act as a vapour barrier, and MelaTech® foam faced with black tissue to form a spacer layer.

DuctiLag® P consists of a heavy polymeric barrier with a Class 0 foil surface to act as a vapour barrier, and glass fibre quilt on the inner face to form a spacer layer.

Ductilag P - Sound attenuators

EnviroSound™ is a closed cell polyethylene foam which, during the manufacturing process, has cells that are subsequently opened. This process results in giving the foam excellent sound absorption properties.

It has the added benefit of being water resistant and so no additional films are required to obtain a moisture barrier, which means its acoustic properties do not diminish when moisture is present. It also exhibits excellent fire resistance properties.

Due to its excellent thermal and acoustic properties it has countless applications, including acoustic wall and ceiling panels and where contact with water is likely.

Features:

  • Absorbs high levels of reflected noise.
  • Water resistant, with a washable surface.
  • Lightweight.
  • Fibre free.
  • Recyclable.

Melatech - Sound attenuators

MelaTech® is a lightweight, open cell, melamine foam. It has excellent fire resistance properties and, as such, does not flame or emit toxic fumes. Due to its excellent thermal and acoustic properties it has countless applications, including acoustic wall and ceiling panels.

To meet specific requirements, MelaTech® can be faced or enclosed in a wide range of materials, or supplied with a self-adhesive backing. It can be cut or profiled into many shapes and sizes depending on individual requirements. It can also be supplied in sheets.

REDUC SoundMat is an extremely effective, easy to fit, acoustic underlay manufactured from a high density polymeric barrier, bonded to a resilient layer of acoustic felt.

It is designed to reduce airborne sound and impact noise transmission through new and existing timber and concrete floors and will act as a compensating layer of sound insulation replacing carpets with timber floor finishes such as floated laminates or engineered wood.

SoftSound AKoostiq - Sound attenuators

AKoostiq® is a polyester fibre-based acoustic absorption panel. It is lightweight and exhibits excellent fire resistance and acoustic properties. It has a range of applications, including acoustic baffles and wall and ceiling panels, due to its excellent thermal and acoustic properties.

SoftSound Designer

Decorative wall panelling manufactured from a sound absorbing mineral fibre core board faced with a thin, high-density, impact resistant mineral fibre panel. The composite panel has reinforced edges and is completely wrapped with an acoustically transparent fabric.

The Designer panels are fitted using concealed fixings on the rear and are designed to absorb high levels of reflected noise to create a more comfortable acoustic environment. SoftSound Designer possess design flexibility and can create separate stand alone feature panels or banks of panels in different colours.
