AR Cartwright Homes Case Study

AR Cartwright Homes is a family-owned business based in Nuneaton, which has been developing properties in the Warwickshire area for 50 years. So, when it came to the bathroom spec for the Zu development, they were keen to see what fresh ideas Bristan could offer, having been very happy with their products in the past. Bristan advised the Frenzy style as it complemented the silhouette of their sanitaryware for a seamless interior design. The mixer taps specified come with Bristan’s thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs) as standard for improved control of water temperature and flow, and added safety.

Creswell Manor, Lioncourt Homes

Lioncourt Homes is an award-winning developer, building new homes throughout the Midlands. Awarded a 5 Star Quality Award by the HBF for three years in succession, the Worcester-based company is focused on delivering the highest quality of service and customer. Bristan recommended Blitz basin mixers and 1-hole bath fillers for their standard homes, and the stunning Hourglass range for a premium finish in their executive properties. The Blitz range features peg levers for effortless flow and temperature control, is WRAS approved and comes with a 5-year guarantee for added peace of mind.

Edgbaston Cricket Club

Edgbaston Stadium is a cricket ground in the heart of Birmingham. The stadium’s popular hospitality areas are currently being redeveloped. Bristan advised on the installation of infrared automatic basin and wall mounted taps from its commercial range. The infrared sensor on the taps is triggered when hands are within the 25cm sensing range – the tap then commences a timed flow of 55 seconds before shutting off. Edgbaston commented: “The thing that has been a real plus point is the ease of fitting. The taps can be battery or mains operated, Bristan’s range of infrared taps also look stylish".

Woodside School, Grendon

Woodside Church of England Primary School is located just a couple of miles from Bristan’s head office in Dordon. Bristan suggested the school replace the existing fittings with its Z2 ½ C Taps. Part of Bristan’s soft touch tap range, the fittings feature an automatic shut off valve. The WRAS-approved taps also have a built-in flow regulator to reduce water usage. By changing the free flow taps at Woodside School to Bristan’s soft touch timed flow taps, they expect to make significant water savings, which will be reflected in much smaller utility bills.
