The Light Lab are specialists in custom architectural lighting solutions. With extensive expertise in lighting integration, emerging technologies and project management, we deliver premium lighting installations worldwide.

From initial collaborative design and drawings, mock-ups in our central London workshop, to manufacture/supply of all metalwork, glass, LEDs and controllers – we take full responsibility for all elements and final installation and finishing.

Established in 2002, The Light Lab has spent the past 22 years bringing together combined experience of working with light, new lighting technology, manufacturing and project management to deliver high end architectural lighting installations.

We can tackle the most complex of projects that require an extra level of integration and detail, where off-the-shelf solutions compromise the design integrity.

Based in London, The Light Lab has worked on many of the capital’s landmark buildings, and has a strong national and growing international presence.

The growth of The Light Lab has brought with it new opportunities for us to take on larger global projects; resulting in projects across the USA, Canada, the UAE and Australia. Meanwhile we continue to work with such a well of talented designers and architects from the UK, meaning the basis of our work is incredibly enjoyable and we look forward to the next decade of The Light Lab and its continued growth.

Alongside this, we also offer a range of lighting products that provide fully customisable solutions, We believe that lighting should be an integral part of the building design and we therefore encourage creating bespoke project-specific solutions rather than compromising around existing lighting products where off-the-shelf products can only achieve a compromised version of the design concept. We design and manufacture our products in the UK, tailored to suit each project with tight quality control. All our products are produced to the highest level of quality, ensuring excellent performance and years of reliable service.
