Hush Acoustic & Intumescent Sealant

Hush Acoustic and Intumescent Sealant & Adhesive is specifically formulated for fire rated and acoustic sealing and bonding within Hush acoustic systems. It is to be used to seal room perimeters, surface penetrations or wherever there is a need for an acoustic seal to be made. It has been confirmed by acoustic testing that sealing all air paths in a separating floor or wall construction will help to ensure acoustic performance levels are met. The effectiveness of an acoustic wall or floor system can easily be compromised if sound can pass through any gaps, making Hush Acoustic & Intumescent Sealant integral to any acoustic system. The product provides up to 5 hours fire resistance, tested to BS 476, is acoustic rated to BS EN ISO 140/3 and tested for air permeability to EN13141-1.
