Timber joisted separating floors can be acoustically upgraded using the HD1031 Hush Acoustics Cradle System. Extensively used in sectors including schools, colleges and universities, it is also Ideal for large industrial change of use conversions with uneven surfaces. This system is tested as a complete system and complies fully with the UK Building Regulations covering sound transmission - Approved Document E (England & Wales), Part G (Northern Ireland) and Section 5 (Scotland). HD1031 is created using a number of Hush Acoustics' insulating materials which are combined in an innovative way to address both impact and airborne sound transmission. A suspended ceiling below the separating floor decouples the structure from the ceiling boards and creates a void for the absorber slabs.
