Description

Stone wool tile for a high level of sound absorption (Class A) for flexible office layouts where confidentiality is important.


Features and benefits:

  • The 35 mm thickness and high performance membrane on the reverse side help to reduce the transmission of noise from room to room.

Fire performance:

Some sizes and edge details of Rockfon® Blanka™ dB 41 can be used with various Chicago Metallic grids and Rockfon systems to create a 30 minutes fire protecting ceiling in accordance with BS 476 Part 21 and Part 23. They can also be used to create a 30 minutes fire protecting membrane ceiling (integrity only) in accordance with BS 476 Part 22 – consult manufacturer for details.


Humidity and sag resistance:

  • Dimensionally stable, even at humidity levels of up to 100% RH.
  • No visible deflection in high humidity.


Demounting:

Rockfon tiles with A, D and E edges can be demounted.


Emissions:

Awarded the Finnish M1 emission classification for building materials and the Danish Indoor Climate Label for low VOC emission products.

  • A24: Use with Chicago Metallic T24 2890 Click Grid to create Rockfon® System T24 A™.
  • D: Use with Chicago Metallic T24 2890 Click Grid to create Rockfon® System T24 Stepped Z D™ or Rockfon® System XL T24 D™.
  • E15: Use with Chicago Metallic T15 2790 Click Grid to create Rockfon® System T15 E™.
  • E24: Use with Chicago Metallic T24 2890 Click Grid to create Rockfon® System T24 E™.


Cleaning:

  • Vacuum: The surface can be vacuum cleaned with a soft brush attachment.
  • Damp cloth: The surface can be cleaned using a damp cloth or sponge with a slightly alkaline detergent (pH between 7 and 9) without alcohol, ammonia or chlorine (this may render the surface slightly shinier, so a thorough clean is recommended).
  • Wet scrub resistance to EN ISO 11998: 2007: Class 1.
