The ONVO Latherwash 2D Curve washtrough is our updated version of the iconic Latherwash 2D. The product now incorporates the very latest in solid surface technology to round off the front edge at a radius of 20mm and cove the splashback at a radius of 10mm. This greatly improves the look of the washtrough as well as giving it a much softer feel and making it easier to clean. The taps are mounted onto the deck of the washtrough and, therefore, no void is required behind. The Latherwash 2D Curve is very slim, only projecting 400mm from the wall and can be used with the complementary ONVO Modular Frame System to conceal the pipework and wires underneath.
Available in a range of standard lengths, there’s something to suit every washroom!
Why choose a curved-front wash trough?
Wherever hygiene, safety, and aesthetic appeal are of equal importance, a curved-front wash trough is an excellent choice.
Popular in commercial and educational environments, they offer several advantages, including:
- Improved hygiene – The smooth, rounded front edge eliminates sharp edges and hard-to-reach corners where dirt, bacteria, viruses, and mould can accumulate. The non-porous design also facilitates easy cleaning, supporting stringent hygiene standards.
- Enhanced safety – Rounded edges also provide a ‘soft touch’ finish, reducing the risk of injury from accidental bumps. This is especially important in high-traffic environments or environments used by young children.
- Modern aesthetics – The soft lines of a curved trough create a sleek, contemporary, and sophisticated look that can enhance the overall design of any washroom, providing a more elegant, less clinical feel compared to standard, angular basins.
- Space and accessibility – Curved-front basins can be super space efficient, taking up less visual space and making your washroom feel more open and airy, whilst still providing plenty of room for multiple users to wash their hands. And with wall-mounted soap dispensers and deck-mounted taps, you can free up even more usable surface area, making the whole setup easy to navigate and more accessible for users of all ages.
- Durability and maintenance – The Latherwash 2D Curve wash trough is incredibly durable, highly resistant to impact, scratches, and chemicals, and can often be repaired by polishing out minor damage, ensuring longevity and lower maintenance costs.
