Description

A rigid extruded polystyrene (XPS) board suitable for almost any floor construction.

Features and benefits:

  • 50 to 100mm typical thickness
  • Square edged boards.
  • Very high compressive strength.
  • Protects the damp proof membrane from damage.
  • Highly resistant to water absorption.
  • Robust and can tolerate traffic from following trades.
  • Represents no known threat to the environment and has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of less than five.
  • 100% recyclable.

Technical characteristics:

  • Vapour resistivity: The XPS content of Polyfoam Floorboard Super has a water vapour resistivity of 750 MNs/g·m when tested in accordance with EN 12086.
  • Moisture absorption: 0.7% by volume when tested in accordance with EN 12087.
  • Resistant to moisture absorption and can be laid in standing water with negligible impact on the performance of the product as determined by testing to EN 12087.
  • Durability: Continuous service temperature limits up to +70ºC.
