A 2 hour fire‑rated metal meter over box designed to provide fire compartmentation and secure access to electricity, gas and utility meters within wall constructions. The over box is surface‑mounted onto the wall structure and can be installed over new or existing meter apertures where fire performance is required.
The unit incorporates a metal door with concealed hinges, a 25 mm wide picture frame, and secure locking. It is suitable for internal wall applications where maintenance access to services is required. Panels beyond tested sizes are manufactured to the same construction principles and fire performance.
With a powder-coated RAL 9010 finish at 30% gloss finish, and a standard frame depth of 70 mm, this meter box is guaranteed to make an elegant addition to any chosen installation space. Bespoke frame depths are available upon customer request. The first dimension stated indicates the hinge side.
