Description

Vincent Timber’s Sweet Chestnut is a naturally durable hardwood cladding option, offering a light golden hue similar to Oak, with a straight, defined grain and occasional mineral streaks. Finger-jointed for long lengths of up to 6 m, it delivers a stable, almost knot-free finish—perfect for refined external timber cladding.

Kiln-dried to 14–18% moisture content, Sweet Chestnut is low in movement and ideal for reliable, long-term timber cladding installations. Left uncoated, it weather to a soft silver‑grey patina, enhancing its natural elegance.

Features & Benefits:

    • Premium Appearance: Warm golden-brown tones with a fine grain, similar in look to Oak, making Sweet Chestnut timber cladding an elegant choice.
    • Natural Durability: Classified as Durability Class 2, Sweet Chestnut timber cladding offers excellent resistance to decay for outdoor use.
    • Low Maintenance: Timber cladding that weathers gracefully to an attractive silver-grey patina over time.
    • Sustainable Choice: European-sourced hardwood with FSC-certified options available.
