Description
Non-combustible, A1-rated, castellated rainscreen cladding system. Panels are available in different thickness options.
A typical rainscreen system comprises:
- Insulation (to specified thickness).
- Breather membrane.
- EVT II support structure.
- Cavity fire barriers.
- A1-rated cladding panels (to specified thickness).
- RJ Facades Ltd fixings.
Rainscreen cladding panel - Features and benefits of rainscreen cladding:
- Panels are cut and folded by air bending to form a simple, castellated cladding panel with fixings through the panel overlaps. Fixings can be matched to the panel to give a partially hidden installation.
- Offers a cost-effective and aesthetically pleasing façade solution.
- Lightweight and rigid, easy to install.
- Installation method: Overlap right over left or vice versa.
- Fixing centres: 300 mm maximum.
- Non-combustible: A1 rated to BS EN 13501-1.
- UL Enhanced Mark ‘Performance of Curtain Walling and Rainscreen Cladding Support Systems’ (R41182-2).
- Versatile: Custom range of castellated profiled designs available.
- Highly durable and impact resistant, and can be used in high-traffic areas.
- Available in an extensive range of standard colours.
- Finished with polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF) KYNAR 500, HYLAR 5000 or fluoroethylene vinyl ether (FEVE) paints, known for their high durability, providing the optimum resistance to weather. They also provide customizable colour/ finish options.
- Warranty available up to 40 years - consult manufacturer for details.
- Tested to CWCT standards with wind load of 3600 Pa safety.
- Extremely flat, low surface stress.
- Also available as a DFC (Discreet Fix Cassette Cladding System), SFC (Secret Fix Cassette Cladding System - hook on fixed), IPP (Interlocking Pressed Plank Cladding System), PCP (Pressed Clip Plank Cladding System), TFP (Through Fix Panel Rivet Fixed Cladding System), or Eco Luxe® "near zero CO2e" low carbon aluminium alloy (which are specified separately).
