Description
Aquatecnic shower tray formers are made from 24mm thick sustainable hardwood plywood; a strong and long-lasting material which forms a rigid and stable base for your shower. The plywood used in the manufacture of Aquatecnic shower tray formers is certified as being from a renewable source that meets FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) guidelines.
Shower tray formers are always covered prior to use, which is why they are sometimes called “invisible shower trays”. The covering layers consist of Aquaproof Wetroom Tanking System, followed by tile-adhesive and tiles or vinyl safety flooring. For tiled floor finishes we offer a wide range of stainless steel, square or linear gratings.
For vinyl finishes, as standard we offer a circular grating in either white plastic or chrome. We can also provide a linear drainage system for a vinyl floor, but this is a bespoke solution, so please contact us for further advice.

- Environmentally friendly birch ply construction from renewable sources which create a very strong former with a high compressive strength.
- All formers are supplied with either a 50 mm or 75 mm trapped waste outlet. This outlet houses an exclusive clamping system designed to hold the Aquaproof tanking system in place ensuring no water can bypass the system.
