The ECHO 7000 Series Non Fire Rated is a hinged discreet ceiling access panel with a good performance acoustic rating, typically specified for high end residential and hotel construction projects.

This product has a standard acoustic rating of 21 dB, and can be upgraded to achieve an acoustic rating of 33 dB with a budget lock. If specified with a push catch lock for a seamless aesthetic finish, an upgraded acoustic rating of 31 dB or 34 dB can be achieved.

Features and benefits:

• The welded metal frame holds a metal door tray that is hinged via fully adjustable concealed hinges and is held closed by either a budget lock or a security key lock.
• The door opens down towards the user. It can be removed to aid installation or if damage occurs.
• A constant door gap is maintained between the door and frame by the fully adjustable hinge and dome location system.

Frame edge:

The 7000-MD is available with a choice of two frame edge profiles to suit application;

• Beaded frame (BF): The beaded frame edge profile is suitable for ceilings where the panel is being installed prior to any tape and jointing or skim-coat plastering.
• Picture frame (PF): The picture frame edge profile is suitable for retro-fit to ceilings where the panel is being installed after finishing work is complete. The panel is factory finished powder coated semi-gloss white so needs no further decoration.

Variations:

• NFR/ 7000/ PD or MD/ BF/ BL or SL:
• Frame: 1.2 mm thick, factory welded, electro-galvanized carbon steel with concealed beaded frame (BF) or plaster frame for plaster finishing. Finished powder-coated primer white all-over and fitted with foam dust gasket to all sides.
• Door: 0.9 mm thick, electro-galvanized carbon steel flush door tray (MD) fitted with fully adjustable hinges and finished powder-coated semi-gloss white all-over, whilst the plasterboard faced door option (PD) has a primer finish.
• Locks: Select from concealed budget lock (BL), or security lock (SL) mounted on the rear of the door, operated from the front face with an included 8 mm square drive or security key. A white, round removable cap on the door face conceals the keyhole or is an integral chrome escutcheon for the SL option.
• NFR/ 7000/ PF:
• All as above options but with visible 25 mm picture frame surround for retro fitting.
