Description

A range of preformed intermediate cavity trays with BBA Certification. Manufactured from injection moulded polypropylene, the trays are available for stepped blockwork or stone details.


Features and benefits:

  • Supplied with or without lead attachment.
  • Suitable for pitches 17.5 to 50°.
  • Assessed by the British Board of Agrèment.


Product options:

- Type GW291 RH Intermediate Trays Right Hand:

  • Designed for building up the finished roof line in a stepped fashion and incorporate an upstand at one end only, allowing water to travel down the cavity tray system.
  • Type GW 291 Intermediate tray features an injection moulded mortar trap which ensures a clear water path, by reducing the risk of mortar droppings and other debris from blocking the tray.
  • The tray has a front mortar clip, removable once the mortar has set, leaving a 25 mm deep aperture into which lead is inserted and secured with lead wedges.
  • The GW 291 Intermediate tray can be supplied unleaded or with short or long lead, stapled and sealed to the tray.
  • Suitable for pitches 17.5 to 50°, 75 mm coursing.

- Type GW292 LH Intermediate Trays Left Hand:

Specification as GW 291 RH but left handed.

- Type GW 291 SBS RH Short Block / Stonework Intermediate Tray Right Hand:

  • Designed for larger course heights, typically 150 or 225 mm in either stonework or blockwork, and incorporates an upstand at one end only.
  • The flexible perpend protector attached to the tray prevents driving rain penetrating the outer wall and tracking across the masonry.
  • The tray has a unique front mortar clip that can be removed at any time once the mortar has set leaving a 25 mm deep aperture into which the lead is inserted into and secured with lead wedges.
  • The GW 291 SBS Intermediate tray can be supplied unleaded or with short or long lead, stapled and sealed to the tray.

Suitable for pitches:

  • 35 to 50°, 225 mm coursing.
  • 25 to 50°, 150 mm coursing.

- Type GW 292 SBS LH Short Block / Stonework Intermediate Tray Left Hand:

Specification as GW 291 SBS RH above but left handed.

- Type GW 291 LBS RH Long Block / Stonework Intermediate Tray Right Hand:

  • Designed for low pitches in typically 150 mm or 225 mm in either stonework or blockwork, and incorporates an upstand at one end only.
  • The flexible perpend protector attached to the tray prevents driving rain penetrating the outer wall and tracking across the masonry.
