William Morris Close, Oxford

OVERVIEW

THE BRIEF

Secure bike parking facilities

Langley Design worked with WeBlack Ltd on the William Morris Close housing project in Oxford to manufacture and install a number of our timber enclosed sedum cycle shelters.

As a leading provider of timber enclosed units, we were pleased to be able to offer our services on this project to provide secure parking facilities for the residents.

WHAT WE DID

Carbon footprint offsetting

The green roofs on the cycle shelters help the structure blend into the landscape and offsets some of the carbon footprint created by the site with the roofing system being supported by a robust structure made with structural grade Class 4 timber.

THE RESULT

Compliment the landscape

We also provided our Langley benches manufactured in Hardwood Iroko timber with galvanised and powder coated flat legs. The combination of these premium materials were chosen to complement the newly landscaped areas.
