OVERVIEW
At the prestigious Twelve Trees Park multi-level residential development by Berkeley Homes, Widopan UK was specified to deliver a solution after a major challenge arose post-construction: the finished floor levels were found to be outside the tolerances required for the final floor finishes to be installed.
The project team faced a significant obstacle traditional methods of correcting floor levels were not viable due to strict weight load limitations across the multi-storey structure.
This made typical screed solutions unsuitable and risked both project delays and structural non-compliance.
Widopan UK responded by providing its lightweight Widoperl-Screed System, uniquely capable of addressing the level corrections without compromising the building’s load-bearing constraints. The screed’s flexibility in application thickness and rapid curing time enabled seamless levelling over large areas while maintaining compliance with all structural requirements.
This intervention not only allowed floor finishes to proceed as specified, but also avoided costly structural alterations or delays, showcasing the Widoperl-Screed’s value in challenging, weight-sensitive developments.
