Television Centre redevelopment delivers new public spaces at famous Helios Plaza.

The Television Centre redevelopment transforms the existing BBC Television Centre into a vibrant mixed-use destination, combining offices and studios for the BBC with entertainment and leisure spaces, housing, a hotel and public open areas.

Working alongside Gillespies and Maylim, The Outdoor Deck Company was commissioned to supply and install Cumaru benches and seating throughout the refurbished Helios Plaza. Bespoke metalwork, including handrails and armrests, was designed in-house to complement the landscape design.

In the iconic external forecourt, Cumaru cladded doors were installed to service and storage areas, creating a seamless and coordinated finish.

The completed public spaces introduce accessible, pedestrian-friendly routes and welcoming green spaces for both residents and visitors to enjoy.
