The Brief

The Connaught, an iconic luxury hotel in the heart of Mayfair, is renowned for its exquisite blend of heritage and modernity. As part of its commitment to providing an exceptional experience for all guests, The Connaught sought to enhance the inclusive bathroom design within its suites, ensuring accessibility without compromising on elegance. Fitzroy of London collaborated with Maybourne to integrate accessible bathroom products that harmonised with the hotel’s refined aesthetic. The challenge was to create a bathroom environment that seamlessly blended functionality with timeless sophistication.

Our Approach

Understanding the need for both luxury accessible bathrooms and seamless design integration, we selected products from our Signature Range and Gosfield Collection in Polished Chrome finish. This included removable grab rails and a shower seat, designed to offer support while maintaining a sleek, refined look. The Polished Chrome finish was carefully matched to the existing Dornbracht finish chosen for the hotel, ensuring a cohesive visual language throughout the space.

To achieve a balance between aesthetics and compliance, we focused on:
