OVERVIEW
SureSet recently completed a high-quality resin bound footpath installation at the iconic Shoemakers Museum, located at The Grange, Street BA16 0BQ. This project combined heritage sensitivity with modern surfacing technology, delivering a durable, visually sympathetic, and fully permeable pathway system designed to last for decades.
Installation Details
SureSet installed 496m² of resin bound surfacing at an 18mm depth directly onto a prepared tarmac base. The existing tarmac provided a stable and suitable foundation, ensuring structural integrity and longevity.
The 6mm Aztec Gold aggregate was carefully hand-trowelled to achieve a smooth, seamless finish. The result is a durable footpath that enhances the museum’s exterior while providing a comfortable walking surface for visitors of all ages.
Why SureSet Resin Bound?
SureSet is renowned for its industry-leading resin bound systems, combining premium natural aggregates with UV-stable resin technology. For this project, the client selected 6mm Aztec Gold, a warm-toned natural aggregate blend that enhances the traditional character of the museum grounds while providing a bright, welcoming finish.
