Rushcliffe Arena - Vector® Architectural façade acting as Brise Soleil

Rushcliffe Arena, damaged by fire during refurbishment, opened on time in January 2017. We were among many companies collaborating on the £13m project to create a modern home for Rushcliffe Borough Council and various leisure facilities.

We installed bespoke façades and pre-built cassette-style brise soleil for solar shading in the pool area. Typically angled at 62 degrees, the brise soleil was set at 45 degrees for swimmer privacy.

The facility includes a 25-metre swimming pool, learner pool, fitness suite, six-rink indoor bowls hall, aerobics and group cycling studios, and squash courts.
