Richmond Primary School, Leicester

Willmott Dixon employed Broxap to design, build and install, four bespoke glazed canopies at the new build; Richmond Primary school in Leicester. The bespoke design, comprised of baseplated mild steel hollow section columns and a patent glazing system, featuring 6mm toughened glass. The canopies were bolted to the main frame work of the new building and upon completion of our installation, a wooden cladding system was applied around the new canopies. As part of the project, we also completed and furnished a cloakroom with coat rails and bench island units.

The canopies were to be powder coated to four different colours, which represented the classroom “house” colours.
