OVERVIEW
As part of refurbishment works at the Waitrose Admiral Park store in Guernsey, new staff toilet facilities were installed to provide a clean, durable and easy-to-maintain washroom environment suitable for daily staff use.
The brief focused on delivering a practical multi-user handwashing area supported by robust finishes capable of withstanding frequent cleaning and heavy daily use in a back-of-house retail setting.
K3 vanity units in High Pressure Laminate (HPL) were specified for the handwashing area, incorporating five recessed basins to support efficient use during busy periods. HPL provides a hardwearing and impact-resistant surface that performs well under regular cleaning.
Rapiduct HPL panelling was also specified to form the service ducting and conceal pipework for the urinals. The system allows sanitaryware to be securely installed while maintaining access to services for maintenance.
