This modern barn conversion in the Cheshire countryside uses Northbank Pine, one of our recent Rare Finds, throughout the space, seamlessly flowing from room to room.
These wide, long planks were reclaimed from a warehouse on the banks of the River Mersey. The boards were restored, then brushed and finished with naked skin lacquer to ensure there was no colour change to the pale, elevated grain.
Claremont, from our Bold Surfaces portfolio, was used on the ceilings. Painted and then worn down by hand to show unique saw marks, it gives a minimalistic, modern aesthetic that complements the pale walls.
