FastClad A2 is the only brick slip system certified to use any clay brick manufactured to EN 771-1 for use over 18m.

Manufactured at our Leicester factory for over 20years the FastClad systems are all fully bonded in factory conditions so that all of our products are purely mechanically fixed on site to ensure the quality of the bond is never compromised.

Both of our systems come with the assurance of a BBA Certificate which assess our products to have a minimum service life of 60 years.

Both of our systems have the best achievable Reaction to Fire in their classes with FastClad A2 Classified A2-s1,d0 and standard FastClad B-s1,d0 as well as possessing market leading Fields of Application to give the specifier the ultimate choice of brick slip.

Our systems have been tested above and beyond the Building Regulations for Reaction to Fire by submitting our products for testing at Exova Warringtonfire to ensure that the cavity facing surfaces met the same standards as the front faces to ensure that both products produce Zero Smoke and Zero Flaming Droplets in the Cavity.

Both FastClad A2 and FastClad are suitable for use in zones that are readily accessible to the public and subject to hard body impacts in heavily trafficked areas.

FastClad A2 must be installed on steel support frames, with carrier rails at a maximum 400mm centres, which can also be supplied as part of the package.

Installed system weight will not exceed 53kg/m2 once pointed.

The system must be pointed with a lime based mortar which can be colour matched to cement mortars that may be used on adjacent areas. Use of lime mortars not only ensures longevity but also manages any thermal expansion and contraction in the system.

Various brick bond patterns may be incorporated into our systems, such as Stack , Flemish, English Garden Wall and Rowlock bonds so that the designer is free to choose the aesthetic they desire.
