OVERVIEW
An office block from the 1980s, which interestingly was above the deepest car park within London, has been extensively refurbished and transformed in to high quality office accommodation and roof terraces and is set to achieve a BREEAM rating of Excellent.
The central atrium has undergone major renovation and ensures day light is delivered through the centre of the building, all the way down to the reception staircase.
Balustrade coated by Bradleys, highlighted with feature lighting, lines the wide reception staircase in the atrium below the renowned feature staircase that ‘hangs’ in mid-air.
This feature staircase was also coated by Bradleys, the bronze providing a distinct contrast to the limed whitewash finishes and solid white oak slats, complementing and enhancing the air of quality pervading through this office block.
Aluminium flashings coated by Bradleys, create features surrounding a selection of the windows overlooking the atrium. The bronze of these window features connects the upper floors with the feature ‘hanging’ staircase and with the reception stair balustrade at the base of the atrium.
