Mercer West, Madison East is a cutting-edge community in the heart of Leeds' cultural quarter. The Bike Storage Company installed our space-efficient Two Tier Racks, allowing the development to provide exceptional bike storage and encourage active lifestyles for over 300 households.


The Project


mercer West Madison East is a striking new 333-unit build-to-rent development in one of Leeds' most vibrant neighbourhoods. This cultural hub takes residents away from the river Aire, arts venues, independent restaurants, retail, and more. With such a pedestrian-friendly location, providing ample on-site bike storage was crucial for enabling active lifestyles.


The Challenge


Our challenge was to create secure bike storage for over 300 apartments in a space-constrained city centre. We overcame this challenge by installing our Two Tier Bike Racks, which are tailored to Mercer West's needs and can accommodate hundreds of bikes. The racks are made from durable steel and maximise efficiency and ease of use through our Gas Assisted lifting, ensuring a hassle-free experience for all residents.


The Solution


The Bike Storage Company's Gas Assisted Two Tier Racks provided the perfect space-saving solution.


These innovative racks feature:

  • Vertical bi-level design to double bike storage capacity
  • Gas-assisted lifting for easy operational access to the upper-tier
