OVERVIEW
Aspire, Believe, Achieve are the three words are at the heart of everything at Lee Chapel Primary School. They encourage children to aspire to be anything they want, believe wholeheartedly that they can do it and achieve their goals through hard work and perseverance.
The school forms part of the Lee Chapel Multi-Academy Trust, which has opened doors to a £10.6 million school boasting brand new classrooms, a huge library, dedicated science and design technology rooms, creating more than 400 school places for children in September 2024.
Continuing its provision of excellence, the school wanted to update their existing play area to something more exciting and engaging for students to play on during break and lunch times.
The Meadows Play Unit, featuring a clatter bridge, trapeze rings, climbing walls and a slide among other activities, provides a range of challenges for younger students for active break times. A balance beam joins swing steps to the main unit, and a fireman’s pole provides a fun way to descend form the play tower. The climb around features a custom finish with the school logo engraved on main tower roof.
The new play equipment was installed on wet pour by the Hand Made Places installation team, which is suitable for all weather conditions, low maintenance and reduces the risk of injury.
This is our second project for the school, following a pirate/viking themed playground installation in 2016.
