Hollywood Bowl: Merry Hill Shopping Centre, Dudley

The Project: Bringing a taste of America to the outskirts of Dudley, the Hollywood Bowl in Merry Hill shopping centre signifies a huge step in the evolution of the development. The ever-growing shopping centre offers a range of shops and eateries, and now, a state of the art, 24-lane bowling alley. Filled with an LA-style diner, VIP lanes and exclusive party rooms, the alley is a place to show off your competitive side and create memories with friends and family. This branch also created over 30 new jobs in the hospitality industry, opening up opportunities for Dudley residents. Farrat was commissioned to create an acoustic isolation solution for the new venue.

Key value we brought to the project: The project’s contractor ABR Projects is a family-run company with over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry. Farrat’s focus on integrity and our ‘can do’ attitude aligned with ABR Projects’ focus on integrity and therefore made for a successful partnership. They installed products from our BowlFLOOR MAX range to provide effective and long-lasting sound dampening for the alley. Sharps Redmore was the acoustician who guided us through the project, sharing expert knowledge on achieving optimal acoustic isolation.
