Heritage Open Fire Chimney Repair - Furanflex Case Studies

OVERVIEW

Initial Situation: The hotel-s chimney had a large void above the fire opening which was unable to be cleaned. This was allowing repetitive chimney fires. Project Challenge: We were unable to open the chimney due to the hand painted murals to the bar area. Liner Chosen: FuranFlex25 RWV Result: FuranFlex chimney liner was the most suitable system maintaining the required cross-sectional area of 225mm and no requirement for opening up the chimney above the fireplace. Following the installation, the bar opened for evening trade.
