OVERVIEW
Project Overview
Oltco completed the installation of 200m² of Recycle Bound surfacing in our premium Kernow Granite blend at a commercial property situated on Oxford Street in Wembley.
Project Brief
James initiated contact with Oltco regarding a commercial development on Oxford Street requiring 200m² of Resin Bound surfacing. During consultations, we recommended our premium Recycle Bound surface, highlighting its superior characteristics and sustainability benefits specifically aligned with commercial applications.
Implementation Solution
The Oltco installation team applied 200m² of our Recycle Bound surface to a pre-prepared permeable tarmac substrate, engineered to facilitate optimal drainage properties through the resin system. The client selected our contemporary Kernow Granite blend, which harmonizes aesthetically with the architectural elements of the property. This installation repurposed approximately 120 kilograms of plastic waste (equivalent to 600 cubic decimeters of recycled material), contributing significantly to the project's sustainable building credentials.
